What to expect
All group reformer classes are 50 minutes long.
Our studio is equipped with 12 reformers, allowing for small group classes with plenty of individual attention.
Yes. All of our instructors are fully qualified to Level 3 or above and are carefully selected to ensure the highest standards of teaching, safety, and client experience.
Not at all. We welcome complete beginners through to advanced practitioners. If you are new to reformer Pilates, we recommend starting with our Fundamentals class, or booking a 1:1 private session so you feel confident and supported from the start.
If you are managing an injury, we always recommend checking with your healthcare provider before attending classes. Please inform your instructor of any injuries or limitations before the class begins so that appropriate modifications can be offered where possible.
In some cases, a private session may be more suitable, particularly if your injury is recent or complex. If you are unsure, please contact us at hello@thewilderstudios.com and we will be happy to advise.
Pre-natal clients may only attend our two dedicated Fundamentals classes, which take place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1:30pm. These sessions are slower paced, focus on safe, controlled movement, and allow for appropriate modifications.
These classes are led by Sophia and Penelope, who are both fully pre- and post-natal trained. When booking, please ensure you double-check the instructor listed, as not all of our instructors are pre-natal certified. Instructor details can be found on our website.
We also kindly ask that you have clearance from your healthcare provider before attending any classes during pregnancy.
If you have any questions or would like guidance on booking, please contact us at hello@thewilderstudios.com
Yes — we offer 1:1 and small group private sessions. These are ideal if you are new to Pilates, managing an injury, pre- or post-natal, or looking for a more personalised experience.

Please wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely. We recommend fitted layers so the instructor can clearly see your alignment. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene during all reformer classes.
We have one shower room, one toilet, and a water station available for clients. Shower towels are provided for your convenience.
We do not have lockers. However, we provide coat hooks and shelving for personal belongings. Any valuable items should be brought into the studio space with you. Wilder Studios cannot take responsibility for valuables left in communal areas.
arrival and studio etiquette
Wilder Studios is located in Belsize Village, just a short 10-minute walk from Belsize, Swiss Cottage, and Finchley Road Tube Stations.
Address: 98 Belsize Lane, London, NW3 5BB.
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your class start time, as entry may not be possible if a previous class is still in progress.
If you are new to the studio or new to reformer Pilates, we kindly ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes before the class begins to allow time to meet the instructor, set up your reformer, and feel comfortable before starting.
Please note that you must arrive before the class start time. We operate a zero-minute late policy, and late entry is not permitted once the class has begun.
We operate a zero-minute late policy. Once the class has started, the doors close and late entry is at the instructor’s discretion. Unfortunately, if you are unable to join due to late arrival, the session credit will be forfeited and the £10 no-show fee will apply.
That said, we completely understand that things can occasionally happen that are out of your control. In these situations, we will always do our best to be fair and to do what feels right. This is not a “one-size-fits-all” approach; our priority is to balance safety, fairness to the group, and the overall studio experience.
The studio closes 15 minutes after the class ends, so if you plan to shower, please be mindful of time to ensure everyone can exit comfortably.
Yes. Wilder Studios is a shoe-free studio, and all outdoor shoes must be removed at the entrance. This helps us maintain a clean and safe training environment.
Yes — water is the only drink permitted inside the studio. We kindly ask that no food or other beverages are brought into the studio space.
We do, however, encourage you to take photos and videos of yourself and the studio space before or after class — and please feel free to tag us on Instagram @thewilderstudios.
Bookings, Cancellations & Policies
For group classes, we operate a 12-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the class start time will result in the session credit being forfeited.
For private sessions, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be fully chargeable.
If you do not attend a booked class without cancelling, the session credit will be forfeited and a £10 no-show fee will apply.
This policy is not about being punitive — it exists to respect the wider studio community. By encouraging clients to cancel their spot if they are unable to attend, we are able to offer that space to someone else on the waitlist and keep classes accessible and fair for everyone.
Class packs are non-refundable and cannot be extended, except in cases of medical emergency, supported by appropriate documentation.
Class pack expiry begins from the date of purchase, not the date of first use.
Promotional class packs are non-transferable and cannot be shared or gifted.
Our regular (non-promotional) class packs may be transferred once only, at our discretion. Please contact us at hello@thewilderstudios.com if you would like to request a transfer.
If a class is full, you may join the waitlist. If a space becomes available, you will be automatically notified up to 60 minutes before the class starts.
You will only be charged if you are successfully moved into the class.
If a cancellation occurs within 60 minutes of the class start time, waitlisted clients will not be notified. Instead, the space will appear as available online.
If you live locally or are able to attend at short notice, we recommend checking the booking page closer to the class time, as last-minute spaces do occasionally become available.
Please manage the waitlist in the same way you would a regular class booking. If you are no longer able to attend, we kindly ask that you remove yourself from the waitlist as soon as possible.
If you are moved from the waitlist into a class less than 12 hours before the class start time and are no longer able to attend, the late cancellation policy will apply.
monthly memberships
Your membership starts on the day it is purchased and runs for one calendar month, renewing automatically each month after that.
No. Unused monthly membership credits do not roll over and will expire at the end of each billing cycle.
Yes. Monthly memberships can be frozen up to two times per year, with each freeze lasting a maximum of one month.
Freeze requests must be made in advance of your renewal date by contacting hello@thewilderstudios.com.
If your membership is frozen, any future bookings during the freeze period will be automatically cancelled. You will, however, be able to rebook classes once your membership reactivates at the end of the freeze period.
Membership cancellations require one full calendar month’s notice and can only be submitted after the initial 3-month commitment has been completed. Your membership will remain active during the notice period, and you will continue to have access to your classes until the end of your final billing cycle.
